In this meeting, Eli uses the metaphor of a farmer sharing seeds to illustrate the transmission received in satsang from a spiritual teacher. For these seeds to bear the fruit of freedom, they must be cultivated: “Nothing more is needed than to be true to yourself as silence. Silence is the opportunity for divine intervention, and is the divine intervention itself.” All that has come before, every life with its set of circumstances, becomes “compost” as the entire genetic conditioning of all lifetimes is faced without moving into thought. In the heat that is generated, your true nature — beyond the story of a personal identity — is nurtured.
